This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

COURSE CONTENTS:

DRSABCD Action Plan
Managing the unconscious casualty
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

One option of 2 hours in classroom training and assessment

Multiple choice quiz
Progressive practical assessment
